In November, 1999, Finley, Colmer and Company was hired by Peachtree Natural Gas immediately after it filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The case involved significant accounting and forecasting work, daily cash management, liquidation analysis, development of management information solutions to billing previously unbilled customer accounts, strategies for divesting operations and customers, and development of a final Plan of Liquidation.
