Peter Colmer individually and Finley, Colmer and Company were hired in March, 2006 to provide executive management post-petition for this manufacturer of trailer hitches, running boards, and other specialty cast aluminum auto parts. While actively involved in the operational aspects of the business, most particularly continuity of supply with vendors who had been adversely affected by the bankruptcy filing, we initiated and executed the sale of the majority of the assets of the estate to Flex-N-Gate Corporation, a $3 billion Tier One supplier of automotive parts to domestic and international automobile manufacturers.
The sale was completed within 14 weeks of the initial filing date.
